Ipoh Trip 3 days 2 night [day 1] #friends gathering trip# Foodies

We are kindergarten > neighborhood friends> primary school friends > secondary school friends ,  which used to hang out .

More than 10 years of friendship and still counting

Ipoh, is a very nice place. Last trip we went for Pahang and Penang , so this time I picked Ipoh as I was study my diploma pharmacy IPOH before. No doubt , I confidence to take the responsible be tour guide.From Pahang to Ipoh it took us about 4-5 hours, but we decided to stay KL on day before the trips.

Schedule of Day 1

6.00am : All of us moved from KL. One of the friends was travelling overnight from Singapore to KL by bus, for our this very importance once in year trip!!!

6.30am : Picked up our friends from TBS station. 
#KL used to traffic jam at this peak hour, so I suggested maybe can be more earlier.

9.00am :  Breakfast at “MING COURT HONG KONG TIM SUM” ( It took us 2 hours more to reach IPOH)

When you come to IPOH, should try out their tim sum breakfast.  

When  you stepped into the restaurant , can saw lot of people queued for the seats. Its not kidding, and its very rare in Pahang. My friends were very overwhelmed by this situation.

Reminder : there is no my favorite “LAO SA PAO”/ ‘SALT EGG PAO’  here. If you come late at the time of 10 am above , “Sorry sir, there are no XIAO MAI vailable, out of sold!!” 

We dint go for the most famous ‘FOH SAN TIM SUM’  because the local citizens told the FOH SAN dint tasted as good as before . It became a tourist hot-spot , in the same time price went up and the taste went down. But , I tried FOH SAN’s numbers of time .The dining environment is very nice and classy, is a good place for spending leisure whole afternoon.

11.00am : Check in to our home stay. It’s a very nice and felt "home-y"place. Fully air conditioner, kitchen , 4 rooms, 2 living room, big car park(can fit 2-3 cars), max people 9 (but I am very sure it can fit more than that). Very satisfied and its very close to the center of IPOH , which very convenience for us. 
The most importance part, its only RM380 per day !! 
#its just perfect for us as we have tight budget.(The only bad, its no wifi )

1 pm : food hunting to “  KEDAI KOPI SIN YOON LONG”

Ice white coffee +toasted bread + caramel custard egg
is very perfect match to quench your tummy on hot sunny day . 
What surprising me is , the custard egg !!!\I like caramel custard egg so much !!  It served cool and melted in mouth by temperature. We kept order for that. The price is very affordable and food is very nice.

”OMG , another star of the kopitiam . The ice  coffee is very strong and "powerful" aromatic , taste the smooth creamy texture , in the same time, sweet is just well.

They were selling their white coffee in packing now RM 12 per package, and I grabbed 5 packages for my mom.# She must fall in love with it.


3 pm : The rain started .We cancelled the hotspring plan and shifted to the karaoke . Have lot fun there.

7 pm: Dinner at “RESTORAN SUCK TUCK KEE”

9 pm : Game section and alcohol drinking section in home stay.

I didn’t plan the schedule too pack on the first day, because considered of our driver.
