FIRST Day of Practical life ,assistance pharmacy

2 months ago,I done my 1 year practical life (6 months of hospital posting and 6 months of clinic posting )
Miss those days so bad.
Here I want to tell my story.
What I can say is, those practical life is tough and awesome.
First day , we are all attached to the OPD (Outpatient department ),where the patients come with their prescription and collect their medicines at counter. I used to think pharmacy work just so simple and leisure, because what I saw is pharmacist sits infront the counter and dispensed it slowly to patients.
Actually its totally opposite with what I thought. The extremely chaos behind the counters, high level pressure, phone ringing, thousands of medicines drawers ,all staffs running here and there, the timer on computer.... All those make our adrenaline level increase rapid, nervous spread among us. NEW BIE to all those procedure and location of medicine, make quite lot of mistakes. As staff just briefing for few minutes, then we placed at different counters, start our first day work. .
In pharmacy all is about rushing, rushing and rushing, due to the waiting timer for each patients cant excess 30 minutes.
In college, we study about theory but here we need to apply it.
We just so in miserable and lost.Honestly,I  work quite slow.Thousands of medicines place at different location, different strength, different type, different classification, I still not so familiar with those location so need time to scan through row by row to get one medicine.
When I saw the prescription baskets keep send inside, mean patients were obviously getting more and I need to speed up. I bit jealous when saw the staff with their eyes on prescription and hand moving between the drawers and grap medicine. They so patience to point out the medicine if we really cant find it.
"Adik ,takpe buat slow slow ,mula mula memang macam tu.Dulu, masa akak masuk dulu pun gelabah macam u all.  " said one of the staffs. In that split of moment, she is a angel for me.Her words in slow tone calmed me lot. This make me felt bit okay as everyone had been in our situation before.
But my frenxz no so lucky. The male staff works with her really a hot temper one. I can heard his  scolds.
What I really need to mention here is, doctor's writing make me sick.I can't even read *soon I learn after couples of days work*
Horrible disaster is a perfect word to describe our first day. We skipped breakfast.Patients are too many until I cant get much time to rest my legs. The needle is moving so slow in clock"Tik.Tok.Tik.Tok"..........It was pretty long day.
When it's time to back 5pm,what a heaven feeling when my butt finally laid on chair.Along the way home, non of us talked instead restoring energy.Arrived home, sleep came in first place.Even my dinner and shower had been forgotten.
Wake up in the midnight with massage oil massaged my bothleg. Chewing the cereals and start worry the coming of next day.

Pharmacy Course

My cousins always ask me why am I pick this career instead of other. For them this is a career symbolize burden and responsible, because it an honourable job  handle with people's life. There is no kidding or joke, every moment should be double careful and concentrate.
I choose because I like this job.
So what are  the advises I can give to the other students that may interest or still confuse about this course

*FOR STPM, DIPLOMA, ALEVEL, FOUNDATION STUDENT *

1.Make your interest clear and choose course according to ur interest but not about salary, parents,friend...

2.Remember, "Nothing is simple, but nothing is impossible " Every study is tough, but its up to your efforts to make impossible become possible.

3. Make sure you have a good base of chemistry study and good brain  memory Gb. When come to pharmacist is all about the chemistry and calculation and also memories medicine.

4.If you want to study make it to degree or master, due to high competitive of job. Not mean to be rude, but degree and diploma really huge gap of salary, responsible, welfare, work.

5.Get your mental and physical well prepared, once you pick this course your life will become roller coaster .But all medical study just the same, endless of sleepless night.

6.The pharmacist study will most likely doctor study, different is pharmacist study more detail about medicine and use, while doctor study more wide *Tougher *

Our pharmacy board set quite high requirements for pharmacy students
@must atleast B for Biology, Physic, Chemistry, Mathematics in SPM
@Muet band 4 and above

Embassy Indonesia Kuala Lumpur 60 days visa

Not too rush, just too relax. I mean the flow of embassy Indonesia.

5 days before I fly. Finally I gonna do my visa.

As this was my first time introduced to embassy Indonesia. First impression of mine, crowded, too crowded, very crowded, like billions millions of peoples stuck in this small room. The long long queue ,wondering when will be my turn.

Before I enter the building, there was some small stalls beside. They sell food ,grocery ,photostat service, passport Photoshop.I can see another version of "little Indonesia town" , instead of "little india town" in Kuala Lumpur. Leisure chitchat in Indonesia language with a cup of teatarik under those big umbrella. What a wonderful morning,as I m rushing like a headless chicken to photostat shop.I forgot to photostat my few documents. Its quite "cekit darah ",as 1 copy of passport cost me RM 0.50.So this what I call those money minded businessman. They charged you incredible price but you still buy from them as there are no choice. After done my copies of document, and paid them RM 6 for few pieces of paper. With RM 6 I can photostat 120 pieces at my place (1piece = RM0.05)

The student visa procedure (make it simple)

1.Go to the visa student loket , make sure prepared 3 copies of passport, 3 passport photo, 3 copies of the college accepted letter, and  Visa form.

2.The counter will checked and confirmed you identity.

3.Go to front and get your number.

4.Go up stair and wait for your number to be call

5.Hand over all the documents and your passport, then you will be told to get your visa 4pm-5pm.They will call and inform you to come over and collect your visa.

Along the procedures it took me 3 hours.I busy with all those since morning 9pm until 12pm.
Finally its done.

Actually its quite easy to do visa by own. There is no need of agent as you can do it by yourself.Rather than spent on agent, better spent half of your day settle those, and treat me a meal with that money.
